The proprietors of Northwood since 1982 are Eileen O'Neill (RN) and Brian O'Neill.

We have an excellent team of experienced trained nursing and care staff at Northwood. We have virtually no staff turnover which enables residents to build good relationships, trust, understanding and confidence in our team.

We are fortunate to have the support of our General Manager, Mrs. Jackie Brogan with over 28 years experience in the care sector Jackie has now been part of our team for 25 years.

In 2007 Eileen O'Neill and Jackie Brogan gained degrees in management and care of the elderly.

We arrange training programmes for staff in all aspects of care, basic hygiene, fire procedures, moving and handling, infection control, pain control, nutrition and much more.

Almost all care assistants are qualified to NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or above.
